      Thank you! I was planning on joining, but I got busy right after I uploaded this photo and was not able to add any information to the photo. Thank you for noticing and helping me out with that! One problem is that I have not been able to identify the species of bird in this photo. Do you know of any good tools for identification? Thanks!

        Luke, below the photo is an "Edit details" button. Regarding identification, there are a lot of helpful sites out there but it depends on the type of species. This looks like a Starling to me, quite likely a Golden-breasted Starling, so I have identified it as such for now. Note that for new photos, you can do this yourself using the button "identify species" to the right of the photo.

        Sometimes it is easy, sometimes a puzzle, but it's a very important activity on this site. It creates a strong connection between photos and species information.         Posted 11 years ago, modified 11 years ago
