Male Trimeresurus cardamomensis
For my second post I chose this photo which I really like and which reminds me of very good memories of my short stay in Cambodia with friends. I only stayed 3 days on the island of Koh Rong but I had the chance to come across a representative of the genus Trimeresurus, a male Trimeresurus cardamomensis which was about to moult, this photo is in situ and I regret simply that at that time I did not use a diffuser for my flash!

"Trimeresurus cardamomensis" is a species of pit viper located in eastern Thailand and the Koh Kong Province in Cambodia. It is more commonly known as the Cardamom Mountains green pit viper.
