Lazuline Sabrewing Another hummingbird from just above 2,300 metres in Venezuela, I wondered if it was some type of non-standard Lazuline sabrewing, but that doesn't make a lot of sense.   HELP. Another hummingbird from just above 2,300 metres in Venezuela, I wondered if it was some type of non-standard Lazuline sabrewing, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. HELP. Unfortunately this is the only photograph I got of it.

  1. Powerful-looking hummer with long wings, long tail, and a fairly long, dark, slightly curved bill. Mostly green with blue iridescence on the face, throat and belly. Looks good for Lazuline to my eyes! What is it that's making you doubt? Posted 3 years ago

The lazuline sabrewing is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forest and heavily degraded former forest.
