    1. That is insane. Seems like across platforms there's like 10 photos of this bird at best, some of which yours.
      Indeed I cannot imagine a better milestone bird. We'll be giving this fantastic milestone the attention it deserves on the social channels.

    This milestone was reached thanks to this photo of the incredibly rare Newton's Fiscal (Lanius newtoni), taken in São Tomé by Thibaud Aronson! This species is listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List and is seldom seen.

The São Tomé fiscal, or Newton's fiscal, is a species of bird in the family Laniidae. It is endemic to São Tomé Island, São Tomé and Príncipe. It is 20 to 21 centimeters long. The bird is black above with a white shoulder-scapular bar.
