    1. True, but it does seem more efficient compared to how other hummingbirds feed. Posted 3 years ago
      1. Definitely. I just read that some (all?) hummingbirds have serrated beaks, which helps the thieves cut through the flower faster. Also, while nectar robbing may not benefit the plant, it doesn't necessarily have a negative impact either. Posted 3 years ago

The white-throated daggerbill, white-throated wedgebill or western wedge-billed hummingbird is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in western Colombia and Ecuador.
