White-naped Cranes (Antigone vipio) Occasionally, I come across old photos and videos I&#039;d forgotten I had.<br />

Thus it was with this video or a pair of White-naped Cranes at a Wetlands Centre in London a few years ago, where they still live.<br />
<br />
At nesting times these Cranes gather in large numbers at its natural wetland habitats so there&#039;s always something sad about a pair like this denied that opportunity, although it&#039;s much sadder that such measures have become necessary with some species.<br />

The White-naped Crane is a bird of the crane family. It is a large bird, 112–125 cm long, approximately 130 cm tall and weighing about 5.6 kg with pinkish legs, grey and white striped neck, and a red face patch.
