  1. Moonlighter are found from Jurien Bay, WA south to Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, where juv inhabit estuaries and shallow embayment and adults occur on coastal and off shore reefs. They grow to a max length of 40 centimetres. Posted 11 years ago

"Tilodon sexfasciatus", the Moonlighter, is a species of sea chub endemic to southern Australia where adults can be found on rocky reefs to depths of 120 metres. Juveniles are found in much shallower waters of coves and estuaries.
