Cretaceous/Jurassic!
Discovered in the 130 millions years old rainforest of Penang Island, this Limbless Skink is probably as close as one can get to see a living Dinosaur! This species was only discovered/described in 2011 and named after the Island, it is already listed as Critically Endangered from the moment of it's discovery due to habitat lost and also up to the year 2017, it was possibly only known from the type specimen!
This was an amazing encounter and at the time of sighting, was not aware of it's significance!
