  1. I don't think this is actually a moth but rather a butterfly. In which area did you see it? This may help to find an ID. You can always geotag your spottings using the Geotag Photo or alternatively setting the country.

    It looks like Junonia iphita or alike. Check this link:

"Junonia iphita" is a butterfly found in Asia. The wingspan is about 5–6 cm and the female can be told apart from the male by white markings on the oblique line on the underside of the hindwing. The wavy lines on the underside of the wings vary from wet- to dry-season forms.
