Hooded pitta - Pitta sordida muelleri
The best pic I can have of a pitta for now because the ones we have found in nature are elusive as hell and usually in an environment with awful lighting conditions!..we can hear them very well but making a pic is another matter! :-D
Pairi Daiza, June 2008.

The hooded pitta is a passerine bird in the family Pittidae. It is common in eastern and southeastern Asia and maritime Southeast Asia, where it lives in several types of forests as well as on plantations and other cultivated areas. It is a green bird with a black head and chestnut crown.
