Red = Danger!
Have been wanting to see this beautiful snake for a long time, and was fortunate when a hiking friend called me when he spotted it at our regular hiking place, I quickly dash over!
This was a full adult, more than 1.5 meters in length, on the hunt. It was moving slowly among the bushes, thus not able to get a full picture of it, just managed to get a head shot, body shot and tail shot, separately.
When it started to moved away, tried to 'block' it to get it to stay but unsuccessful as it disappeared into the bushes within 3 seconds! Still, this was a lucky encounter.

''Calliophis bivirgatus'' is a species of snake in the family Elapidae known commonly as the blue coral snake or blue Malayan coral snake. It is native to Southeast Asia.
