Strengeriana huilensis, Bellavista, Ecuador If my ID is correct, this one is from the family Pseudothelphusidae (neotropical freshwater crabs) that originated from the Antilles and then migrated to high elevation mountain streams. The place it is found (Bellavisa) has an elevation range of 1,400 - 2,600m.<br />

I&#039;ve checked many species and most seem strongly range-bound. That said, information is sparse, so ID is tentative. Bellavista Cloud Forest,Ecuador,Ecuador 2021,Geotagged,South America,Spring,Strengeriana huilensis,World Click/tap to enlarge Species introCountry intro
