Rough Knob-tailed Gecko
Found in the rocky plains of central Australia. Nocturnal, all rough knob-tailed geckos have a small round knob at the end of their tail which is used as a lure. When threatened will raise its body, arch its back and puff up. It will readily bite. They feed on spiders, scorpions and other smaller geckos.

They are easily distinguished by their short bodies, large heads, small legs and short, carrot-shaped tails that often end in a small knob.
