
Australian aquatic fringe lily
A native, aquatic, perennial plant that has been observed in all States of Australia. Grows in slow-flowing or still water, up to 1.5 m deep. It has also been found existing on drying mud patches.
These pretty yellow flowers are just 30 mm diameter. This is the variegated form, where leaves have a lovely marbling of green and purple.

''Nymphoides crenata'', commonly known as wavy marshwort, is an aquatic perennial herb of the family Menyanthaceae endemic to Australia, found in all mainland states and the Northern Territory.
