Yellow-necked Spurfowl in Tarangire high grass I was quite surprised to see species like this spurfowl as well as the guineafowl survive amidst wildlife in Tanzania. Where the herbivores are always on alert, strategic, fast, careful, these creatures seem slow, loud, easy to spot, easy prey. What is you secret, oh Spurfowl?
