Slow worm - Anguis fragilis Unfirtunately I find these species most often dead even in grasses next to my house. It is a victim of lawn mowing. In this case I don't know what killed it. Unfirtunately I find these species most often dead even in grasses next to my house. It is a victim of lawn mowing. In this case I don't know what killed it. I found it in the middle of a hiking path close to Fondry Des Chiens (June, 2019).

  1. Oh, how sad! I didn't realize it was dead at first. Ugh. I have found piles of snakes in the past, all killed even though they were completely harmless. Posted 3 years ago
