Cantik = Beautiful This Spider Cantikus halabala was originally described in 2011 as Pholcus halabala and are documented from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.<br />

In 2018, more than 20 species of Cellar Spiders were transferred to a newly erected genus - Cantikus, the entymology of the name deriving from the word Cantik from Malay, meaning Beautiful.<br />
