Coprinopsis strossmayeri
Came to this ID more by process of elimination - there are not too many Coprinopsis sp. here and this one at least matches the description well. For this species overall there really is not much information.... some accounts reference this as growing on dung others on wood. This particular one was growing on wood.
Coprinopsis strossmayeri may be part of a species complex with C. variegata - which is documented to occur only east of the Great Plains.

A species of fungus in the family Psathyrellaceae. Possibly part of a species complex with C. variegata - a species known east of the Great Plains in the US.
