Sea Radish - Raphanus raphanistrum subsp. maritimus As I understand it, this is not Raphanus raphanistrum but subsp. maritimus, which I also understand is a specie.<br />

  1. David -- at this point, we can't identify subspecies on JungleDragon. But, having it in your title and tags will help so that it has the proper subspecies ID even though it isn't technically in the species record. Sorry! Posted 3 years ago

Raphanus raphanistrum is a flowering plant in the family Brassicaceae. It is sometimes claimed to be the ancestor of the edible radish, "Raphanus sativus". Native to Asia, it has been introduced into most parts of the world, and is regarded as a damagingly invasive species in many areas.
