    1. it is a very rare and endangered species, known in the world from 4 locations - 2 in the Golan Heights (Israel) and 2 in the Hauran (southern Syria).
      as no one checked the Syrian populations for over 20 years (first they need to learn to respect human life, then maybe they will start looking at nature...) - the only populations that are being monitored and kept are the ones in Israel.
