Allium tardiflorum is a rare and endangered species, that was discovered on Mount Carmel in the late 1980's and published in the early 1990's. on 9/2021 it was discovered on Mount Meiron for the first time. a week later we went looking for it!

    1. an acquaintance of mine was the first to find it, a week before me. we went the following week - didn't find "his" spot, but found a very close one, which was very exciting!
      it's a very small plant (each flower about 1 cm or less), it is a brown-green flower that blooms in the woods, very camouflaged. it's like a detective work, to find it :-)

Allium tardiflorum is a plant species found in Israel. It is a bulb-forming perennial producing an umbel of flowers late in the season, in September or October.
