  1. These guys are night predators. Can you see why? Posted 3 years ago
    1. The huge eyes?

Very cool photo of a stunning predator, surely inspiration for Hollywood. Barely any macro photos of this species online so this is very valuable. You also positioned it very well.

      1. Thanks Ferdy, I value your comments.

Question. I am taking a full body pose as well that shows the carapace. Do I just post the new photo or do I post it along with my original post.

        1. Basically, every photo is a post on their own, but they become related to each other in a few ways:
          - By identifying multiple photos as the same species, they become linked to the species record.
          - Tags is another way to group individual photos
          - You can directly embed any other photo into the description of a photo by pasting in the link of the photo you want to embed. This way you can also embed videos.

          Example:

Giant Forest Ant / Dinomyrmex gigas - full body Specimen. I've photographed this species before but this is a different specimen, with a better spread position.<br />

https://www.jungledragon.com/image/120792/giant_forest_ant_dinomyrmex_gigas_-_head.html Dinomyrmex gigas,Extreme Macro,Giant Forest Ant

In the example, there are 4 individually uploaded photos. They stand on their own, yet I linked them to each others in the 3 ways described. Hope this helps?
