Tiger Longwing Butterfly (Heliconius hecale) On a very wet afternoon at the site of a wondrous Costa Rican rainforest waterfall, we were fortunate to come across Hummingbirds, a Howler Monkey & many exotic plants.
The Tiger Longwing, along with others from the family Heliconius are quite unusual and unique butterflies.
