Solitary lesser flamingo at Momella lakes
This is somewhat of an odd photo, since this lake has thousands of flamingos grouped together, it is strange to see one alone. You can tell apart a lesser flamingo from a greater flamingo by the color of their bill; the lesser flamingo has far more black in it.

The Lesser Flamingo is a species of flamingo occurring in sub-Saharan Africa with another population in India. Birds are occasionally reported from further north, but these are generally considered vagrants.
