The pronounciation of NG depends on the origin/location, and knowing that this person is from Singapore, the dialect would be Hokkien. The name should then be pronounce similar to 'mmm', but with an 'nmm', it is hard to explain though, but something to that effect.
Mostly westerners have difficulty pronouncing it and have personally came across a situation, the westerner when introduced to a person with the name, couldn't figure our how to repeat/pronounce the name when spoken, then asked the person how the person's name is spelled, which the local person spelled it as N G, and the westerner guy, pronounced the name as N G as spelled! After that, the local woman adopted the name N G as Angie, and she started using the name Angie Ng :D Posted 3 years ago
