Neocrepidodera transversa

One of the things I adore in macro photography is observing the behaviors of the tiny beings I encounter, I start to wonder what are they doing and why...this one looked like it was scratching it's hand but it could be something totally different 8-)

Nice! I love watching insects too. This beetle looks like it's grooming. The setae (tiny hairs) on their legs "tell" them when they are dirty. Have you seen the film Microcosmos? It came out in the mid-1990's, but is a classic! It follows the activity of insects and other invertebrates over the course of a day.
