    1. Thank you Ferdy. Well there are several hundred species in South Australia alone and it will keep me busy. Some species are common and easy to find , others are very rare and much of it is luck to stumble onto them. It is a lot of walking with alwise keeping a look out where you put your feet just in case a snake might be sleeping just there. Posted 3 years ago

''Caladenia stricta'', commonly known as the upright spider orchid or rigid-combed spider-orchid is a plant in the orchid family Orchidaceae and is endemic to southern continental Australia. It is a ground orchid with a single leaf and usually only one pale green flower with red lines along the sepals and petals.
