It has fantastic antennae, which led me to question whether the ID is correct. Exosoma lusitanicum has different antennae. Other differences can be seen in the head color and legs. Plus, your beetle has a dark spot on the edge of the elytra, which appears absent in Exosoma lusitanicum.
It looks similar to Macrolenes sp., but that would be out of range. And, it's not an exact match anyway.

Yes Christine, Macrolenes species for sure.
In France, only Macrolenes dentipes occurs but in Portugal I cannot get information about possible other species.
