    1. they are really beautiful, and the purple stamens with the yellow pollen is really wonderful :-)
      but this is a hard plant to find! you can stand in the field, look at one, get up, and then search for the one you just looked at for quite a while... lol

Drimia palaestina is a small desert geophyte of the Asparagaceae family. it has undulate leaves. it blooms in August-October without leaves. the leaves sprout later at January.
the flower stem is about 30 cm tall, with greyish flowers.
