This little friend was on a metal fence having his morning sun bath. Inaturalist identifies it has Oedemera Barbara, but I can't find the Barbara kind in here to make the identification.
I'll give some more background on what happens when you type a species in the identification dialog:
1.When the species is already known to JungleDragon, you can directly pick it.
2. When the species is not yet known to JungleDragon, it will go to English Wikipedia to check if there's a species article there. If so, it will automatically import its data. From then on, it will forever be known to JungleDragon (scenario 1)
If the species is not known to JungleDragon and also not in Wikipedia, we have to create the species record manually. This is done by moderators. You can make such request from the species identification dialog, under the "advanced" toggle. This basically sends an email to moderators to create the record, which usually happens within a few hours.
