    Assuming it is correctly identified, it seems to occur in your state, and looks fairly similar.

    1. Ha - I had it ID'd last night as that species, then changed my mind and got off on a tangent because it has blue veins on the wings and black markings on the face and BugGuide says green with no markings - but then has photos with blue veins and black facial markings... sometimes I get so confused :}

      I think I came across this photo first - which is a good match.

      1. I know how you feel, it's very easy to get confused, especially when it turns out that not all information is fully trustworthy, or possibly outdated. I guess in those situations your own intuition worked best ;) Posted 4 years ago
