        1. I can’t give all the credit to tea… the last 15 years of practice with wiggly and not entirely cooperative subjects during my day job - photographing skin abnormalities on mainly babies and toddlers- has made caterpillars seem easy ;) Posted 4 years ago

The rough prominent is a moth of the family Notodontidae, possibly in the subfamily Notodontidae. It is also known as the white-dotted prominent and the tawny prominent. This common moth is found across North America from the northern boreal forests to as far south as Florida.
