Eclectus Parrot male and female
I have stuck these two photos together so you can get an idea of the different colours of the males and females. The female is on the left. These birds are described as the most sexually dimorphic of all birds, so much so that they were originally though to be two separate species.

The Moluccan eclectus (Eclectus roratus) is a parrot native to the Maluku Islands (Moluccas). It is unusual in the parrot family for its extreme sexual dimorphism of the colours of the plumage; the male having a mostly bright emerald green plumage and the female a mostly bright red and purple/blue plumage.
