  3. WOW! Great photo of an impressive mini-beast! It looks a lot like Coenosia tigrina, but there sooo many of these flies that look similar. I based it on the red "knee area" at the end of the hind femor (and I think mid femur, as well) AND also on the pair of bristles on the hind tibia. I could be misreading those features, though.
