  1. Not the best shot. They live in tropical rain forests of central America from southern Mexico to Panama. They can run on their hind legs short distances (to 4 m) on the surface of water by slapping the water with their long toes edged with flaps of skin. An excellent diver and swimmer they can remain underwater for up to 30 mins. They are good climbers. Diet is mainly insects, also small lizards & mammals, fruit and flowers. Posted 12 years ago
