I found these beautiful lilies in Montenegro where I spent a couple of weeks hiking and photographing. The species is somehow questionable as I found descriptions as lilium bosniacum but also lilium albanicum. Some sources also classify it as Carniolan lily (lilum carniolicum) (these are usually orange)... Whatever the actual species, incredible wild beauty! ''Lilium bosniacum'' is a lily native to Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's also known as ''Zlatni Ljiljan'' and ''Bosanski Ljiljan'' . ''L. bosniacum'' has often been lumped and split and lumped again.

Similar species: Lilies, Supplejacks, Etc.
