Fairly mediocre photos, but I'm still happy with the find. I don't think I've ever seen or photographed a lacebug before. They're quite tiny and supposedly mostly found on the underside of leafs.

A big shoutout to Arp (@pudding4brains) for pioneering this category in JungleDragon:
Another jewel I stumbled upon are these very high quality photos of species found in the Netherlands, showing how very beautiful these obscure bugs are:
1. Awesome!! I have never found one, yet have been looking forever. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
    1. Quite an injustice when you consider I barely knew they existed and didn't even try hehe.
But seriously, are they so rare to find when actively looking? Why would that be?

      1. You are very lucky! I saw one once, but a friend had found it. I am not sure why I can't find them, maybe they are uncommon in my area. Arp suggested that I look on sycamore leaves, but I can't reach any as our sycamores are fairly huge. Gary suggested goldenrod in late summer. So, I'll be checking that in the coming weeks.
