  3. I have heard of these but never seen a photo, pretty savage creatures from what I have read. Great shot, nice to see those massive claws! Posted 6 years ago
  4. Wow! Thanks for your nice comments, I'm really glad you like it!
Because I wasn't too happy with this shot at first: I had to shoot it through glass, so had to focus manually, and that creature wouldn't stand still for only one moment!
Ferdy, when my dictionary prompted "wolverine" as the English name of this animal, I couldn't believe it and checked another dictionary before posting...

    1. We thought alike then. Amazing that it actually exists, and also astonishing that it is in fact a weasel. Posted 6 years ago
  5. As to Hugh Jackman - Wolverines are well-known in Alaska and legendary for an ability to fight far beyond their weight. They are apparently ferocious in a fight. Posted 3 years ago

It is a stocky and muscular carnivore, more closely resembling a small bear than other mustelids. The wolverine has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself.
