  1. Wondering if you're familiar with this source:
    http://www.jumping-spiders.com/

From "spiders", then enter your genus, then "image overview" (takes a while to load), it does show a lot of illustrations and identification keys. I didn't put in the time to try to come to a species, might be somewhat cumbersome.

    1. I’ll have not seen that site, I’ll have to give it a try. I looked through bug guide, but couldn’t determine which characteristics really defined each species. There seemed to be a lot of variations in markings. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
      1. Exactly, despite being super popular macro subjects, worldwide they are poorly documented. Don't be fooled by the crude appearance of that website, when you dig into it deeper, I can only have a ton of respect for it. A life's work to put all of that together. Posted 4 years ago
        1. Hah - all I did was dig myself in deeper and find a second possible genus to search through… Posted 4 years ago
          1. Ouch. I know that feeling of a solution creating only more problems lol. Posted 4 years ago
            1. BugGuide comes through. The second genus turned out to be the one. Posted 4 years ago
              1. Wonderful, it's been a true ID journey, thanks for persisting! Posted 4 years ago
