Brasenia schreberi (Watershield) In a shallow pond formed in an abandoned peat mine. Random bite marks on the leaf surfaces are proably caused by Donacia spp. (leaf beetle, Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). The leaf mines are probably caused by larvae of Galerucella nymphaeae (waterlily leaf beetle, Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). Large chewed out areas may be the result of feeding by aquatic moth larvae in the Pyralidae.<br />
