  1. Sugian, I'm confused by this species name. In this photo....

    ...you name it "Common Bluebottle" with name Graphium sarpedon. Yet in this photo, you also call it "Common bluebottle" yet with name "Graphium adonarensis".

    Those are different species names, how can they both be a Common Bluebottle. Further, "Graphium adonarensis" does not seem to be a valid species name. I can't find it in any reference database.

    1. So Sorry Ferdy, adonarensis lycianus is subspecies of Graphium sarpedon in Java. Meanwhile, adonarensis phyrisoides is subspecies from Bangka Belitung. Posted 4 years ago

The Common Bluebottle, or Blue Triangle in Australia, is a species of swallowtail butterfly, that is found in South and Southeast Asia, as well as eastern Australia. There are approximately sixteen subspecies with differing geographical distributions.
