Trixagus dermestoides (Linnaeus, 1766)

This Trixagus dermestoides was either "ducking" or running about too fast to focus ... not the nicest posture, but at least I got some shots of the head/eyes in to make ID possible ;o)

    Thanks quys ... it's still always a disappointment when you just don't get the details you want/need nice and sharp. Fighting with a 0.9mm beetle at the moment that I need to get a reticulate structure of the elytra in focus for ... and it's a moving target ... *frustration* :-( Posted 4 years ago
