Black-marked Ancylis - Ancylis metamelana *Tentative ID
I'm struggling to decide if this is Ancylis metamelana or Ancylis burgessiana. The first makes sense, but the second is more abundant locally. And, there are some A. burgessiana that are dark. It could also be A. brauni.
1. The Leps app says Ancylis metamelana. Probably wrong, because it's not the last one in the list. Posted 4 years ago
    1. Ha! I can't remember my thinking when I posted this. But, I did think Ancylis metamelana was the most likely choice. I didn't ID as such because it isn't locally abundant, whereas the 2nd choice is more common. I'm going to stop overthinking it though and ID it as Ancylis metamelana for now. Posted 4 years ago
