Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvus)
A Griffon Vulture is a so-called Old World vulture, meaning they spot dead animals only by sight, not by smell. Another vulture fact: the reason their heads are relatively bald is that otherwise blood spatters would make them impossible to clean.

The griffon vulture is a large Old World vulture in the bird of prey family Accipitridae. It is also known as the Eurasian griffon.
