Scythris fuscicomella Mating pair on milkweed leaf. If this identification is correct then the presence of these two moths in Minnesota, USA represents a 700 mile range extension north and indicates a breeding population is present. It seems unlikely that a male and female of the species would luckily be carried northward to my place and meet each other.
