When mysterious eggs hatched Yesterday morning when I was watering those plants I checked that leaf on which eggs were laid and I saw these tiny bugs and I was so excited to record them. I know nothing about these tiny gems except for the fact that they are some species of shield / stink bugs.
Transformation of shield bugs Recently I posted a picture of Shield Bug eggs and the freshly hatched juveniles. Hatching was shot on 1st of June and this is the update after 5 days. They went under molting process and you can see the discarded exoskeleton on the cluster of eggs. Also, this was the last time I saw them. It is so amazing to see their transformation from eggs to freshly hatched juveniles and to this completely transformed adult stage.
Look at the size of juveniles and compare it with the current size and all this in just 5 days.
The green shield bug is a shield bug of the family Pentatomidae. It may also be referred to as a green stink bug, particularly outside of Britain, although the name green stink bug more appropriately belongs to the larger North American stink bug, ''Acrosternum hilare''.
