I had a confusing time getting my head around identifying the various stadia, partially due to an error in the drawings in the bible on the European Coreoidea (trying to get that corrected in an addendum now), so I'm attempting to create a side-by-side of all stadia to add still, but it's a royal pita to work through all the images looking for good shots of details *rolleyes* Posted 4 years ago

''Rhopalus subrufus'' is a species of ''scentless plant bugs'' belonging to the family Rhopalidae, subfamily Rhopalinae.

Length is about 7 millimetres. It can be distinguished for its membranous forewings and the connexivum with dark and light stripes. It mainly feeds on ''Hypericum'' species, but also on many other plants. It is found in most of Europe.
