Chipping Sparrow - Spizella passerina This bird was VERY busy foraging for food for its fledgling. I took pictures of him/her collecting bugs for its baby and in this photo, it has a bug in its beak. The trees were so dark that all I could get was a silhouette.<br />

  1. "The trees were so dark that all I could get was a silhouette."

Christine, you're still not getting this art thing. Let me rephrase it for you:

"After extensive existential pondering, I concluded life to be reductionist: eat or be eaten, and transformed the duality of my vision into the duality of dark and light pixels. Pixels, mere carriers of my profound perspective."

    1. Perfect, lol. I still tend to think of photos scientifically -- can the organism be identified using the photo. Although, I do love artistic shots and thought this one was kinda cool. Posted 2 months ago
  2. I think this is great.
And if you want to think scientifically about this, this could potentially help someone identify this bird at similar light levels.

    1. Thanks! And, very good point -- the outline/shape is probably useful. Posted 2 months ago
