Chipping Sparrow - Spizella passerina
This bird was VERY busy foraging for food for its fledgling. I took pictures of him/her collecting bugs for its baby and in this photo, it has a bug in its beak. The trees were so dark that all I could get was a silhouette.
Habitat: Coniferous meadow
The Chipping Sparrow is a species of American sparrow in the family Emberizidae. It is widespread, fairly tame, and common across most of its North American range.
