Olive Arta Moth (Arta olivalis) At a 365nm UV light setup at a mixed forest edge.
Jason built me a better moth setup (with more exposure and mobility). I haven't really used it yet, but I turned on my light this morning just for testing purposes. This worn moth happened to show up before I shut my lights back off, and I was super surprised at finding it! Only a handful of observations (in Georgia) on both iNaturalist and BugGuide.
1. Twinsies?
Olive Arta Moth - Arta olivalis?? *Tentative ID because Connecticut is definitely out of range for A. olivalis.
Habitat: Attracted to an LED light (365 nm) in a semi-rural area.
