Okay, this is a bit bizarre...but this guy hasn't really moved since I first saw it a few days ago. Either that, or it keeps returning to the same place. Enchenopa latipes,Geotagged,Summer,United States,Wide-footed Treehopper Click/tap to enlarge

1. Two days seems like a long time, but they are pretty sedentary. Once they tap into a good sap source, they often stay put unless threatened. You should check it again in a couple days, if you can, just in case it's got a fungal infection or something interesting like that... Posted 4 years ago
1. I definitely will check it! :D Posted 4 years ago
1. It would be unpleasant for the hopper, but so cool for you to find it sprouting fungus. Posted 4 years ago
